ABOUT Katherin
My fascination with art and photography began at a young age, and it blossomed into a serious pursuit during my high school years. Attending Columbia College Chicago solidified my desire to make a career out of visual storytelling. There, I discovered photojournalism and was profoundly influenced by Professor John H. White, a Chicago Sun-Times photographer and Pulitzer Prize winner. He instilled in me a work ethic built on the principle of "good, better, best," constantly striving to push boundaries and elevate my craft.
Following graduation, I honed my skills through internships at local newspapers and landed a dream job as a track photographer at Hawthorne Race Course. This opportunity perfectly blended my passion for photography with my lifelong connection to horses. My success in capturing the dynamism of the equestrian world led me to photograph national and international events.
Driven by a desire for change, I transitioned to a marketing role while continuing to offer my photography services to realtors. My experience capturing the energy and intricacies of the equestrian world translated seamlessly into creating compelling visuals for the real estate market.
I'm still completely dedicated to crafting visually captivating stories through photography. I find great satisfaction in collaborating with clients to create beautiful and authentic images that resonate with viewers. My unwavering commitment to quality and personalized service ensures every project is approached with a meticulous eye for detail and tailored to meet your specific needs.
